How To Make A Makeup Brush Holder


I love the idea of having a pretty little vessel to hold all my makeup brushes. One thing is I have them in a box right now with a bunch of other makeup and I often find myself digging through old lipstick and mascara trying to find my good brushes. That is not good so why not make a beautiful holder for them!

I love that this is a very simple craft that anyone can do for not a lot of money! The items that were purchased to make this Sephora-inspired makeup brush holder were: Glass container – Dollar Tree, rhinestones & fabric – Walmart, crystal vase filler – JoAnn Fabrics, buttons & glitter – Hobby Lobby. That is it and it only cost around $6.50 to make!

It is quite cute and would make a lovely addition to any makeup parlor or area. Check out the video below on how to make this very pretty craft!

Adorable clay charm crafts!


I found this video on youtube and I absolutely love it! It shows us all the adorable polymer clay charms that the host has made in her spare time. They are so cute and I can imagine a teen or tween loving these crafts that are so freakin’ adorable!

Even though I am in my 30′s I would love to have some of these because they are so cute. She shows us all the one she has made and she has several tutorials that accompany this video in case you are curious how to make these. I love that she is passionate about this, as so many teens and young people today do other things that are not as wholesome and sweet as something like these polymer clay charms.

DIY Valentine's Day Cupcake Stand


Here is another great easy craft video on how to make a DIY cupcake stand. This would be perfect for not only using for cupcakes, but also for jewelry, candles, or other knick knacks. The reason I love this video so much is because it is so easy to do!

What you need to make this craft is only a few items that are readily available at your local craft store, dollar store and/or Target. This is a great idea to make for other shaped plates as well such as flowers, perhaps a daisy, star shaped or this time of year, perhaps easter themed. I have seen adorable easter egg and bunny plates at Target recently.

This is also a great craft idea for making with kids or other youngsters, because it is quite easy and would be relatively cheap to make. Here is the video on how to make DIY Valentine’s Day Cupcake Stand craft:

Using Paper Scraps to Make Card Backgrounds


I love making simple paper crafts for the purpose of giving cards. I do it quite often and the recipients are always so grateful for the homemade gift. They are so much fun and so inexpensive! Cards cost an arm and a leg today and this a great way to save money, and give something very special

I received my first homemade card as a wedding present card and it was by far my favorite card! It was so cute with yellow, black and white, with big daisies on it. I still have the card to this day and it has been an inspiration on so many different projects. I know make cards for birthdays, Christmas and other holidays.

Scoring Board


Good old Martha Stewart. She is everywhere and has her fingers in all sorts of kitties. She is all up in crafts, recipes and so much more. She really likes things to be elegant and I sort of have a love/hate for that women. Why does she insist on making me feel inadequate at crafting?

Martha Stewart Circle Cutter


I would love to be a fly on the wall and watch Martha Stewart for a day or two, her not knowing I’m there. I have a feeling she is a big ol’ freak, but I like her nonetheless. The woman can do everything! Her recipes, her crafts, her organizing skills are just plain ridiculous.

I found this video on youtube today from her staff showing how to use her circle cutter tool. I love to craft but I do not own a circle cutter. It is a pretty cool tool and I would love to purchase one for future crafting. It is quite precise and what you can do with it is endless.

How to: Polymer Clay Snowcone


One of my favorite things in the summertime is to stop by the local snowcone stands! I love snowcones so much and usually like to get a “cherry bomb”. A “cherry bomb” is basically several different kinds of cherry syrups: black cherry, bing cherry, tart cherry, etc., mixed into a delicious snow cone of joy!

I found this craft video on youtube today on how to make adorable little Polymer Clay Snowcones. I love this one because it instantly transported me to the fun days of summer! Bring on the snowcones, and the adorable snowcone crafts.

This appears to be a relatively simple craft with only a limited amount of supplies needed to make it. The host shows step by step directions and I’m quite tempted to make some. This is the perfect adorable craft for coffee lovers to make! I was just at Starbucks today and thought about how much I love it there. So why not make a Starbucks themed craft? What an ingenious idea and the result is utter cuteness.

In this video the host makes an adorable little Starbucks Drink out of clay. It is quite detailed and informative, and has quite a few steps. This appears to be the sort of craft where patience is key! Well, patience, time and supplies I should say.

Spring Bee Card Craft

I just adore Spring time!  As Spring time is right around the corner, and feels like it is already here (it is in the 70′s today) I thought it would be fun to look up some simple Spring time crafts to make with the kiddos.

I found this video that shows how to make Spring Bee cards.  I think this is so cute and perfect for a simple afternoon craft.  You will need the following supplies to make this adorable kid’s craft:

  • Colored paper (blue, green, red, yellow, white)
  • 2 googly eyes
  • black marker
  • glue
  • scissors

It really is simple, you pretty much fold and cut some paper, use some glue and you have an awfully adorable Spring time craft! I think this one too because I can see my kids getting quite creative and making some interesting shapes and features, other than just some bees and flowers!  Here is the video that shows step by step instructions down below:
